When using the tier feature in easyPoints, metafields and segments based on tiers will get automatically generated in Shopify.
Tier metafields
easyPoints will automatically create the following metafield that holds the customer tier's uid.
Name: Tier Uid
name space and key: loyalty.tier_uid
Type: Single line text
By pinning the metafield, tier uids for each metafield will appear in the Shopify customer page, and also can be used inside Shopify flow as conditions.
This metafield will hold the uid for the tier, and not it's name. Please be aware that the metafield is not suited for being used as a variable in messages.
Tier segments
easyPoints will create segments for each tier, containing all customers that belong to each of it. You can check the tier distribution store wide, and also use it for tier based segment markting.
For stores that have not had tiers updated recently, there maybe customers with blank metafields, and that do not belong to any of the tier segments. If you wish to apply all current tiers as metafields and sort them into the segments, please contact customer support: easypoints@lunaris.jp
