Connection guide: Compleo (Innogy) & eBOX Premium

On this page you find the connection guide to connect a Compleo charging station with your EEVEE account.

Configuration requirements

  • Configuration package for EEVEE, containing:

    • SIM card (optional)

    • EVSE-ID

    • Configuration guide for the installer

    • Registration guide for the owner of the charging station

  • Smartphone

  • E-Config app

Follow the steps

Step 1: Connect to the eBOX

  • Connect the eBOX to your smartphone via Bluetooth.

  • Access the eBOX configuration using its unique PUK.

Step 2: Technical and backend settings

  • Enter the technical parameters: phases, current and asymmetric load.

  • Configure the backend settings.

  • When the app starts, a guide explains how to set up the Bluetooth connection. A red symbol means there is no connection; it turns green once connected, after which you can continue the configuration.

Step 3: Unlock the eBOX

  • The PUK can be found on the back of the eBOX manual.

  • After unlocking, choose a business or private installation.

Step 4: Installer settings

  • Region: select where the eBOX operates (US or EU).

  • Number of phases: 1 phase or 3 phases.

  • Charging load: 16A, 20A or 32A.

  • Asymmetric load detection: on or off.

Disclaimer: asymmetric load detection is mandatory in Germany.

Step 5: Network connection

  • As installer, choose a connection to the B2B backend via WiFi, LAN or SIM.

  • A SIM card must be installed and activated. This can be done during installation, or at production for customers with a prior agreement.

Step 6: Backend settings

  • Once a valid network connection exists, continue to the backend settings.

  • Backend URL: wss://eevee-hvpq.powerfill.app/ws/

  • Continuing validates the backend connection. A green screen with the rolling "e" indicates success.

  • The eBOX restarts to apply the changes.

Step 7: Verify and manage

  • After commissioning, the eBOX can be accessed and configured via the backend portal.

  • Reconnecting shows a configuration summary for validation.

  • Options: refresh (update data), restart the eBOX, or reset to factory settings.

  • To change parameters, you must repeat the commissioning process.

Are you the installer? Continue with Step 8. Are you the owner of the charging station? Continue with Step 9.

Step 8 (installers): Activate the charging station on the EEVEE platform: (TBD)

Step 9 (owners): Register the charging station in your EEVEE account: (TBD)
