Connection guide: Power Electronics

On this page you find the connection guide to connect a Power Electronics charging station with your EEVEE account.

Configuration requirements

  • Configuration package (SIM card (optional), EVSE-ID, configuration guide for the installer, registration guide for the charging station owner)

  • Power Electronics installation guide

  • Configuration device: laptop or mobile phone

  • Connectivity: Ethernet cable, Wi-Fi hotspot or 3G/4G SIM card

Follow the steps

Step 1: Follow the Power Electronics installation manual to complete the installation safely.

Step 2: Put your configuration device on the same network as the charging station. You can do this with:

  • A 3G/4G SIM card

  • The factory-enabled Wi-Fi access point (hotspot)

  • An external Wi-Fi network

  • An Ethernet cable connected to the port inside the equipment

Step 3: Enter 192.168.204.10 in your browser, then enter the username and password of the charging station to log in to the web server.

Step 4: Click the webmanager tab at the top of the screen.

Step 5: Open the set up menu and click the communications button at the top.

Step 6: Configure the network settings for your connection method:

  • SIM 3G/4G:

    • APN: if the charging station uses a SIM card, APN: (TBD)

    • User: leave empty

    • Password: leave empty

    • DHCP: when enabled, the IP is assigned automatically. When disabled, you can set the IP address, gateway, netmask, primary DNS and secondary DNS manually.

The SIM settings only apply if a SIM card is inserted.

Step 7: Configure the OCPP settings:

  • WebSocket URL: wss://eevee-hvpq.powerfill.app/ws/serialnumber (replace serialnumber with the serial number of the charging station)

  • Enabled OCPP: Enable
