Follow the steps
Step 1: Install the charging station according to the DC Tower installation manual.
Step 2: Connect the charging station to the internet using one of these methods:
Ethernet: plug the cable into the OCPP Ethernet port.
SIM card: insert the SIM card into the SIM 1 slot of the OCPP router.
Step 3: Adjust the network settings via the Nidec BYS app or the local config tool.
Via the app:
Open the network settings.
Set OCPP connectivity to mobile or Ethernet:
Mobile: if the charging station uses a SIM card, APN: (TBD). Leave username and password empty.
Ethernet: with DHCP, leave address, netmask, gateway and DNS empty. Otherwise, enter them manually.
Via the local config tool:
Connect to the SCI Ethernet port.
Set the IP address of your laptop to
192.168.10.2and the subnet mask to255.255.255.0.Open
http://192.168.10.1:81/configuratorin a browser.Log in with the operator credentials (username
operator).Open the Ocpp tab.
Set OCPP connectivity to mobile or Ethernet and apply the same APN and Ethernet settings as described above.
Step 4: Adjust the OCPP settings via the app or the local config tool:
Open the network settings.
Set the connection string to
wss://eevee-hvpq.powerfill.app/ws/DC-xxxxxxReplace
xxxxxxwith the serial number of the charging station.
Restart the charging station.
If you are the installer, continue to Step 5. If you are the owner of the charging station, continue to Step 6.
Step 5 (installers): Activate the charging station on the EEVEE platform: (TBD)
Step 6 (owners): Register the charging station in your EEVEE account: (TBD)
The charging station is now linked to your EEVEE account!
