Connection guide: ABL eM4

On this page you find the connection guide to connect a ABL eM4 charging station with your EEVEE account.

Configuration requirements

  • EEVEE configuration package, containing:

    • SIM card (optional)

    • EVSE-ID

    • Configuration guide for the installer

    • Registration guide for the owner of the charging station

  • ABL Configuration app

  • A mobile phone

Follow the steps

Step 1: Insert the SIM card into the 4G dongle supplied with the charging station.

Step 2: Download the ABL Configuration app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 3: Open the app, tap Start a new configuration and confirm that you are a certified electrician.

Step 4: Follow the steps in the app and connect to the eM4 by scanning the QR code on the commissioning label of the charging station.

Step 5: After adding the eM4, tap Next to create a password for the charging station.

The charging station restarts automatically after the password has been created. After the restart, you can connect the charging station to your local WiFi network, so you can access it more easily via the app later.

Step 6: Choose one of the supplied connection methods (LAN or LTE), add more charging stations to the same network if needed, and configure the technical settings of the charging station.

Step 7: Tap Handmatige invoer (Manual input).

Step 8: Enter the following connection details:

  • OCPP version: 1.6

  • Central System address: wss://eevee-hvpq.powerfill.app

  • Local port: 443

  • Local path: /ws/

  • Secure (TLS) connection: ON

Step 9: Tap Volgende (Next) to confirm the settings.

If you are the installer, go to Step 10. If you are the owner, go to Step 11.

Step 10 (installers): Activate the charging station on the EEVEE platform: (TBD)
