Connection guide: Silla Industries

On this page you find the connection guide to connect a Silla Industries charging station with your EEVEE account.

Configuration requirements

  • EEVEE configuration package, containing:

    • EVSE ID

    • Configuration manual for the installer

    • Registration manual for the owner of the charging station

  • Prism Solar installation guide

  • Configuration device: laptop, smartphone or tablet

  • Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi hotspot

Follow the steps

This guide describes how to connect a Silla Industries Prism Solar charger to EEVEE.

Step 1: Install the charger according to the Prism Solar installation manual.

Step 2: Connect your device to the internal Wi-Fi network of the charger, named Prism-xxxxx.

Step 3: Log in with the credentials shown on the label of the charger.

Step 4: Browse to http://192.168.8.1/benvenuto and log in with the installer credentials from the label. A guided configuration page opens; follow the instructions on the screen.

Step 5: Configure the network settings. Choose one of the options below:

Wired (Ethernet): on a network with DHCP, the charger gets internet access automatically. The second page of the interface shows the IP address assigned by the router.

Tip: assign a fixed IP address (via the router or the Prism settings), so you can reach the interface on the local network instead of via 192.168.8.1.

Existing Wi-Fi network:

  1. Open the link shown in the interface.

  2. Log in with the installer credentials.

  3. Go to Network > Wi-Fi (called Wireless in some versions).

  4. Press Scan to show the available networks.

  5. Select your network with Add network.

  6. Enter the Wi-Fi password in the WPA access phrase field if required. To target one specific access point among several with the same SSID, select Lock to BSSID.

  7. Press Send.

  8. Press Save without changing any other settings.

  9. On the main page, press Save & Apply.

  10. The charger switches off its internal Wi-Fi and tries to connect for about 90 seconds. If successful, the internal Wi-Fi comes back. Reconnect to it, return to the guided configuration page and press Save and continue.

  11. If the connection fails (for example because of wrong credentials), the internal Wi-Fi comes back after 90 seconds and a rollback banner appears. Repeat the Wi-Fi connection procedure.

Step 6: On the Guided Configuration page, scroll to the OCPP communication section.

Step 7: Open the drop-down menu and select Enable.

Step 8: Enter the OCPP parameters:

  • URL: wss://eevee-hvpq.powerfill.app/ws/

  • Device serial code: the unique serial number of the charger

  • Authentication: OCPP without authentication

Step 9: Press Proceed.

Are you an installer? Continue with Step 10. Are you the owner of the charging station? Continue with Step 11.

Step 10 (installers): Activate the charging station on the EEVEE platform: (TBD)

Step 11 (owners): Register the charging station in your EEVEE account: (TBD)

The charging station is now linked to your EEVEE account!
