Connection guide: CubeCharging

On this page you find the connection guide to connect a CubeCharging charging station with your EEVEE account.

Configuration requirements

  • Configuration package for EEVEE, containing:

    • SIM card (optional)

    • EVSE-ID

    • Configuration guide for the installer

    • Registration guide for the owner of the charging station

  • Configuration device: laptop

Follow the steps

The charging station must be configured by a certified CubeCharging installer.

Step 1: Contact a certified CubeCharging installer and ask them to connect the charging station to EEVEE.

Step 2: Share the following configuration settings with the installer so they can upload the configuration kit to the charging station:

  • Charge point name: the EVSE-ID or the serial number of the charging station (must be replaced)

  • OCPP server name: eevee-hvpq.powerfill.app

  • OCPP server path: /ws/

  • OCPP port: 443

  • Secure (TLS) connection: ON

  • Max current: 16

  • Max cubes: 1

  • Max total current: 25

  • Token: leave empty

Important: replace the charge point name with the correct EVSE-ID or serial number, and leave the token field empty.

Step 3: Briefly disconnect the charging station from the power supply and then reconnect it. During start-up, check that all three LED indicators turn green. This confirms that the charging station has connected to the backend.

Are you the installer? Continue with Step 4. Are you the owner of the charging station? Continue with Step 5.

Step 4 (installers): Activate the charging station on the EEVEE platform: (TBD)

Step 5 (owners): Register the charging station in your EEVEE account: (TBD)

The charging station is now linked to your EEVEE account!
