Configuration requirements
EEVEE configuration package, containing the EVSE ID, an installer configuration manual and an owner registration manual
Valeo Ineez password labels (included in the charger box)
A laptop as configuration device
Follow the steps
Step 1: Power on the charger following the Valeo video tutorial.
Step 2: Activate the hotspot. Wait until the LED is steady green. Hold the touch button under the LED for about 3 seconds, release it, then wait about 10 seconds. The LED should show the hotspot sequence.
Holding the button longer forces a charging session to start.
Step 3: Connect the laptop to the Wi-Fi network named Valeo_XXXXX using Password 1 from the label.
Step 4: Open the WebUI: in a browser, go to http://10.0.0.1 and accept the "not secure" warning.
Step 5: Log in with username ineez_user and Password 2 from the label. On first login you are asked to set a new password. We recommend choosing a new password and storing it securely.
Step 6: Enable OCPP.
Open the configuration menu and activate the OCPP connection.
Set Config Type (protocol) to
OCPP.Enter the server URL:
wss://eevee-hvpq.powerfill.app/ws/(include the trailing "/").Enter the ChargePoint ID and save.
In the pop-up, select restart the services.
The LED changes from alternating green/yellow to alternating red/yellow. Red means the charger is not yet connected to the backend.
Step 7: Internet connection, option 1 (Wi-Fi Client): activate Wi-Fi Client, select your network, enter its password, save and restart the services.
Step 8: Reconnect after the Wi-Fi setup. The WebUI connection drops once the charger joins your Wi-Fi network. Reactivate the hotspot as in Step 2. Once reconnected, you will see confirmation that the charger is connected to the Wi-Fi client, and it should appear in the backend.
Step 9: Internet connection, option 2 (SIM card via LTE): instead of Wi-Fi Client, activate LTE and enter:
APN name: if the charging station uses a SIM card, APN: (TBD)
Username and password can be left empty.
Save and restart the services. The LED changes from red to green once the backend connection is established.
Installers continue to Step 10. Owners continue to Step 11.
Step 10 (installers): Activate the charging station on the EEVEE platform: (TBD)
Step 11 (owners): Register the charging station in your EEVEE account: (TBD)
The charging station is now linked to your EEVEE account!
