Deleting domains from your account (including expired or blacklisted ones)

How to remove domains you no longer need, what to do before requesting deletion, and how to add new domains afterward.

Need to remove a domain you no longer use — for example an expired domain, or one you'd like to replace? Here's how domain deletion works.

How to delete a domain

Deleting a domain isn't yet something you can do yourself from the dashboard. Send us the list of domains you'd like removed and we'll take care of it, usually within a few working hours. We'll confirm the change and what it means for your plan before finalising.

  • Send us the exact domain names you want removed.

  • Delete any mailboxes on those domains first.

  • Double-check the names so only the intended domains are removed — similar-looking names are easy to mix up.

Replacing vs. reducing your domains

  • Replacing a domain: if you're swapping one domain for another, the new domain is added at the standard $15 replacement fee. Set up the replacement before removing the old one — see Domain replacement.

  • Reducing your domain count: if you simply want fewer domains, let us know and we'll adjust (downgrade) your plan to match.

Expired or blacklisted domains

Expired domains, and domains you want to drop because of blacklisting, are handled the same way: send us the specific list, confirm they're the right ones, and we'll remove them. Note that a SURBL/blacklist listing on its own doesn't actually require dropping the domain — please read SURBL Listings and Deliverability Impact first.

If you're unsure which domains to remove or want help cleaning up your account, contact us and we'll review your specific case with you.
