2GIG Motion - How to Test Sensor

Learn how to effectively test your 2GIG Motion Detector sensor.

Instructions:

  1. Ensure the system is disarmed.

  2. At the Home screen, press System Settings.

  3. Enter the 4-digit master code.

  4. Press System Tests.

  5. Press Sensors Test.

  6. Trigger the sensor by walking back and forth in front of it.

  7. Check the panel to make sure the sensor registered. A green bar shows a successful test. A red bar shows the test failed. If you see a red bar, please call our Account Specialists for further assistance. CA (587) 844-5377 | US (385) 832-9055

  8. Press the Back arrow.

  9. Press the Home button to return to the Home screen.
