Discover how to troubleshoot the tamper issue with your GE Smoke Detector

Instructions:

  1. Open the sensor by twisting it counterclockwise and removing it from the mounting bracket.

  2. Wait 15–20 seconds.

  3. Place the sensor back on the mounting bracket and twist clockwise until it clicks into place.

  4. Check the panel to ensure the error has cleared.
