2GIG Smoke Detector - Tamper

Learn how to troubleshoot tampering issues with your 2GIG Smoke Detector.

Instructions:

  1. Ensure the panel is disarmed

  2. Remove the sensor cover by twisting counterclockwise

  3. Wait 15–20 seconds

  4. Replace the cover by lining up the grooves and twisting clockwise until it clicks into place

  5. Check the panel to see if the tamper error clears (this could take a few minutes)
