Verify the turnpiece is in the vertical position.
Remove the lock cover.
Remove the battery pack.
Insert new AA batteries into the battery pack, ensuring correct polarity. For best results, use new non-rechargeable Alkaline batteries only.
Slide the battery pack back into the lock panel.
Reinstall the lock cover.
