The nsave app now includes a redesigned Invoice system, which allows you to create professional invoices and share them with your clients. This feature works differently from the Payment Links option, and it’s important to understand how each one functions, what they’re used for, and what fees apply.

1. What the Invoice System Does

The Invoice system is designed to help you request payments in a structured, compliant, and professional way. When you create an invoice in the app, your client receives:

  • A professional invoice with your business and client details

  • Your bank account information (ACH or Wire, depending on what’s available on your account)

  • A secure invoice link where they can view the invoice and send the payment from their bank

How the payment works

Invoices do not process payments online. Instead, they provide your client with your bank details so they can transfer the funds directly from their bank account.

This makes invoices ideal for:

  • Clients who prefer bank transfers

  • Larger payments

  • Business transactions that require documentation

  • Countries where card payments are not supported

2. What Payment Links Used to Do

The Payment Links feature allowed clients to pay you online, directly through a checkout page using their card. This was a fully digital payment flow, similar to Stripe.

At the moment:

  • Payment Links are disabled

  • They will return soon

  • You will receive an email notification once they are re‑enabled

When they return, clients will again be able to pay you instantly by card.

4. Fees for Receiving Payments

Currently, receiving SWIFT payments is free on both the Free and Pro plans. So if a client pays you using the bank details shown on your invoice, they will not be charged any receiving fees by nsave.

5. Which Option Should You Use?

  • Use Invoices if your client prefers bank transfers, needs documentation, or is paying a larger amount.

  • Use Payment Links (once re‑enabled) if your client wants to pay instantly by card.
