Master Sequence - How to Unassign a Stop from a Route

This guide shows you how to remove a stop from a route's schedule from Master Sequence. You can unassign a stop for a single day or remove it from all future dates to keep your routes accurate and efficient.

Updated yesterday

From the Master Sequence page of Route Manager, you can unassign a stop from either a specific day or from the actual Master Sequence (meaning that stop is removed for all future days, weeks, etc.).

You can unassign from either the Board view or the Map view. Step by step instructions for both methods are below.

How to Unassign a Stop for a Specific Day

Board View:

  1. Navigate to the Route manager (Routes tab).

  2. From the Board view, find the route you want to edit. Click the horizontal three-dot icon and select Master sequence.

  3. In the column for the specific date, find the stop you wish to remove and click the Unassign (x) icon, as shown below.

  4. Click the Update button at the top right of the screen.

  5. This will open another window where you'll be prompted to choose your publish destination and click Publish to save your changes.

Map View:

You can take the same actions from the Map View, too!

  1. Navigate to the Route manager (Routes tab).

  2. From the Map view, on the left side of your screen, click the circle "back" icon to switch to the Day view.

  3. Navigate to the date you're looking for using the < and > arrows.

  4. Find the route you want to remove. Click the Unassign (x) icon.

    1. Make a mistake? No problem! As long as you've not published yet, you can undo by clicking the Undo unassign (x) icon on the red-highlighted stop card to add it back to the route.

  5. Click the Update button at the top right of the screen.

  6. This will open another window where you'll be prompted to choose your publish destination and click Publish to save your changes.
